MAPLETON – On April 1, 2023, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an address in Mapleton and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 62-year old of Woolwich Township has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Sexual assault
- Sexual assault cause bodily harm
- Criminal harassment - two counts
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.
