'Life-altering injuries' in Puslinch crash this morning (Updated)

(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) - On January 12, 2023, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving two motor vehicles on Concession 7, Puslinch. Initial reports indicated that a white sedan and a Semi-Truck had collided, and the driver of the sedan was seriously injured.

OPP, Puslinch Fire and Rescue Service and Guelph Wellington Paramedics Service attended the scene. A 34-year-old driver from Guelph was transported to a trauma centre with life-altering injuries. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured

The cause of the collision is being investigated. The roadway was closed for several hours but is now open.

The Wellington County OPP is asking anyone that may information regarding the collision to call 1-888-310-1122.

PUSLINCH – The driver of a sedan was rushed to a trauma centre Thursday morning following a collision with a transport truck just south of Guelph.

The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Concession 7 and Maltby Road, by the Hwy. 401 overpass.

The truck driver wasn’t hurt, Wellington County OPP Const. Joshua Cunningham said in a video tweeted out later that morning.
