Motorcyclist from Fergus airlifted to hospital after collision

The 30-year-old was taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a single motor vehicle collision in Woolwich Township.

On June 11, 2022, at approximately 5 p.m., emergency services responded to the area of Southfield Drive and Union Street for a collision.

A motorcycle was being operated in a private parking lot when the driver lost control and the motorcycle skidded off of the paved area of the lot.

The driver, a 30-year-old male from Fergus, was transported by air ambulance to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing by members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit.
