OPP hope to confirm safety of senior in Fergus who 'appeared confused'

On March 12, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a person in possible distress on Victoria Terrace, Fergus. It was reported that a senior citizen had approached a home and appeared confused. When the individual was asked if they needed help, they made a comment about Alzheimer's before walking away.

The individual was described as a female, 165cm (5'5"), with short grey hair, wearing a black jacket with a pink collar. They were last seen walking south on Victoria Terrace.

Police are looking to confirm the safety of this individual and asking anyone with information related to this occurrence to call Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
