OPP looking for man accused of sexual assault at Fergus business

Police say the incident happened on April 30 around 5:45 p.m.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a sexual assault at a retailer on St. David Street, Fergus. It was reported that on April 30, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a woman was sexual assaulted by an unknown male.

Police are asking the public to help identify the suspect who was described as white, 50-60 years-old, tall, heavy set, wearing a dark baseball cap, dark sunglasses, dark hoody, blue spandex shorts, and white sneakers, carrying keys and a black wallet.
