OPP seeking two suspects in attempted robbery at Erin residence

It was reported that two individuals attended the residence and demanded an unknown cell phone from residents and threatened them if they did not provide it

On March 9, at approximately 8 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of suspicious people at a residence on Laurel Lane in Erin. It was reported that two individuals attended the residence and demanded an unknown cell phone from residents and threatened them if they did not provide it. The suspects then left in a dark sport utility vehicle (SUV). 

Investigators are still trying to identify what cell phone the suspects were referring to.

It was reported that the first suspect was a male in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5'8" tall, with a light brown complexion, goatee and short dark brown hair. He wore a dark spring coat, blue jeans, a black shirt, and a surgical mask hanging from one ear. The second suspect was a non-white female in her late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5'4", with a thick build, black hair in a ponytail, brown eyes, possibly pregnant, and wearing a red parka with gray and white fur hood with furry pom-pom ties.

OPP continue to investigate and are asking who might have been in the area or has video surveillance or a dash cam to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
