FERGUS -On Tuesday, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious person in the town of Fergus.
It was reported that at approximately 8:00 a.m., while a youth was walking to school along St Andrew Street East, they were being followed by a person described as a white male, thin build, possibly in his 40's with dark green eyes and wearing dark clothing and dark grey sneakers and carrying two black garbage bags in his right hand. The male was last seen going south on Gartshore Street.
The Wellington County OPP patrolled the area extensively and are continuing to investigate. The school was also made aware of the incident.
