Police say car stolen in Guelph was used in Fergus break-in

FERGUS – Guelph police are investigating after an SUV stolen from Guelph was used in a Wellington County break-in.

Early Sunday morning, Guelph police received a message from the Ontario Provincial Police regarding a vehicle used during a break-in at a business in Fergus. The Lexus SUV was abandoned at the scene.

When officers visited a home in the area of Palmer and Stuart streets in Guelph, the owner discovered his vehicle had been stolen from the driveway overnight.
