Police seek suspects after theft from Elora business

OPP say two people selected over $2,000 in product, and then refused to pay for it

Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a theft from a retailer in Elora. At approximately 8:00 p.m., on January 4, 2024, two unknown suspects entered the store, selected over $2000 in product, and then refused to pay for the product when they left.

Investigators are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the persons responsible for the theft. 

Anyone with any information related to this occurrence is asked to call investigators at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous; you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
