On Jan. 1, 2023, at approximately 8 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence on First Avenue in the town of Erin.
It was reported that two unknown persons attended the residence and stole approximately $350 worth of various items. The two occupants of the residence were home at the time of the incident. One occupant did receive minor injuries as a result of an altercation with the unknown persons. The suspects are described as follows:
- Suspect No. 1 - approximately 6-3, 200lbs, wearing a grey windbreaker style jacket, red ski mask, and dark sunglasses;
- Suspect No. 2 - white male, thin build, deep voice, wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask.
At this time, investigators believe this was a targeted incident and there is no threat to public safety.
