4 Ways to participate in the 2022 Awards of Excellence

We are so excited that we can be *in-person* for this year’s Awards of Excellence, presented by OLG, and are thrilled to be sharing our plan with you!

We have taken a few pieces from the past two years of pivots and built out a week-long celebration – which fits our theme of Celebrating With You!

Here are 4 ways you can participate in this year’s celebrations!

  • Attend the Launch Lunch - On Wed., May 25, we will be holding a Launch Lunch – to kick off the week-long celebrations around the Awards of Excellence and honour the Long Service Award recipients. This lunchtime event will take place at The GrandWay Events Centre, and all will be welcome to attend. This event will include several brief speakers, pulled from the list of honorees, speaking about their business journey. Tickets for the Launch Lunch are $40 +hst per person and can be purchased online or by calling 519-843-5140.
     
  • Attend the Gala – On Tues., May 31, in the evening, we will be recognizing 67 nominees and announcing the winners of 14 categories. The Awards of Excellence Gala event will be in-person at The GrandWay Events Centre, and there will be a livestream of the event sponsored by Enbridge Gas, allowing anyone to participate virtually at no cost to them. 
     
  • Watch the Livestream – Something we loved about last year’s virtual event was the reach it had – to the far corners of CW and beyond and over 5,000 views! The Gala (complete with winner announcements) will be livestreamed here, starting around 6:30pm on May 31
     
  • Donate a Gift Basket - We are hoping to add even more local businesses to the gala and are looking for gift baskets to be used as centrepieces. We ask that each gift basket be valued at approx. $50, and then we will be auctioning these off from our Ecclestone Financial Group Side Stage throughout the evening.

We certainly did embrace the Celebrating With You theme, with over 100 businesses to recognize, plus almost 40 sponsors, and up to 25 centrepieces, it’s going to be an amazing week! Keep an eye on our socials – we’ll be sharing behind the scenes sneak peeks, nominees highlights, sponsor profiles, and so much more leading up to and during event week!
