Over the last 23 years, the annual Awards of Excellence event has evolved but the reason we gather year after year remains the same - to thank all of the individuals and businesses who give back so generously to our community. It’s our past, present, and future nominees and award recipients who really make Centre Wellington an amazing place to live, work and play.

The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) invites you to participate in their annual Awards of Excellence. This signature event recognizes individuals and businesses that have made a significant and lasting contribution to the community, and nominations are now open!

Nominees are recognized for accomplishments in the previous year. Nominations will remain open until February 25, and CWCC encourages you to consider recognizing a deserving individual, business, organization, or group. Review through the categories below, and go with your gut and nominate who comes to mind!

For most categories, a nomination will take less than 15 minutes.

New this year, CWCC is adding to their Long Service Awards. In addition to recognizing companies who celebrated 25 or 40 years in business in Centre Wellington in 2021, they will be recognizing businesses who celebrated 10 years in business. CWCC will also be highlighting businesses who celebrated one year anniversaries in 2021. If you know of any business who celebrated 1, 10, 25, or 40 years in business in Centre Wellington in 2021, please email [email protected].

The nomination form can be found here.

CWCC MEMBER PROFILE:

Elora Physiotherapy is a multi-disciplinary physiotherapy clinic in the heart of Elora!

The clinic is owned and operated by two homegrown talents, Ashlea Wilson and Caitlin Williams.  Ashlea and Cailtin had always dreamed of opening a physiotherapy clinic in the community that helped nurture them along their way. Elora Physiotherapy opened in April 2019, and even amidst a global pandemic and lockdowns the clinic has grown to provide full physiotherapy services, Registered Massage Therapy, and social work/psychotherapy, with amazing Client Care Coordinators ensuring everything runs smoothly!

“One of the very first tasks we completed as a new, small business was to become Chamber members! We have always valued the connection we felt growing up in this community and we wanted to strengthen that now that we are local business owners. We knew the Chamber provided resources, support, and great ways to network and help our small business grow”

Before the pandemic, they were fortunate to be able to join in on the Chamber’s breakfast events, and have been honoured over the past several years to receive Awards of Excellence nominations. As a new business in town, Chamber events were a great way for them to meet other local business owners and start to feel a deeper connection with the community at large. In addition to engaging with the CW business community, they are also happy to share that one of their physiotherapists, Alex Remedios, is volunteering with the Elora Rocks this season. He is providing on-site physiotherapy services for the team at home games and as a business Elora Physiotherapy is thrilled to be a part of Elora Rocks team.

You can connect with Elora Physiotherapy on Facebook and Instagram or visit their website.
