What's new at CWCC?

At CWCC, we are here to help local businesses thrive. Everything we do aims to provide access to information, connections, resources, and programs that can help our member businesses & organizations, and the Centre Wellington business community.
There are a few programs and events that we want to make sure everyone is aware of!

Circular Innovation Council’s Food Waste Pilot Program – if you are a business that generates food waste, check this one out! We recently did a quick interview with them to learn more about businesses can participate in this program, recognize some cost savings, and be part of the circular economy, watch the replay here

Rapid Screening Program – as restrictions ease and we continue to re-open, return to the office, etc, access to self-screening kits and a screening program for your employees may be valuable. Screening kits are available through CWCC, free of charge to businesses with less than 150 employees. For the details, click here

We are returning, carefully and slowly, to in-person events, starting with Local Biz Night at the Grand River Raceway on August 18, and the Paul Walker Memorial Golf Tournament on September 23. For registration and all the latest event updates, visit www.cwchamber.ca/events

As a proud Member of the CWCC, Diane believes that the relationships developed with other Members through networking events – such as 26 Coffees – and collaborative opportunities with neighbouring Chambers celebrates the spirit of reciprocity in local business. “Through the pandemic the Chamber provided timely, concise information and relevant material to the business owners to help navigate through the challenging and ever changing times and possible financial help,” shared Diane.

It is only fitting that Diane, the owner and operator of 7Seas2See serves as Chair to the CWCC Travel Committee. As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, Diane says that she “looks forward to exploring afar again” with exciting and unique events and group travel opportunities.
