Community volunteers collected over 2,000 lbs of non-perishable goods for the Centre Wellington Food Bank. Submitted

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Residents around Fergus and Elora filled a trailer with food donations for a Thanksgiving food drive. 

A news release from #CWFoodForFriends stated last weekends initiative collected 2,163 lbs, or 970 kg, of non-perishable food items. 

Collected donations are going towards the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
