Saturday, June 10

Historical Automobile Society of Canada Car Show and Sale

Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex - 550 Belsyde Ave. E., Fergus

8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Annual car show and flea market of antique car parts and miscellaneous nostalgia. Camping is on-site for vendors and general admission.

Elora Farmers’ Market

Bissell Park - 127 East Mill St., Elora

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Outdoor market on the banks of the Grand River with local food and artisan vendors

Minto Farmers’ Market

Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum - 164 William St., Palmerston

9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Locally grown and produced products from the Minto area. 

Ontario Craft Gin Festival 

Elora Centre for the Arts - 75 Melville St., Elora

12 noon to 6 p.m.

The inaugural craft gin festival with artisan makers, the martini Olympiad, live music, food vendors and more.

Clifford Carnival Celebration and Parking Lot Party

Downtown Clifford

10 a.m. to midnight

Community wide yard sales, carnival activities, food trucks, live entertainment, an age of majority party in the evening and more in an all day celebration in Clifford. 

Wellington County Writers’ Festival 

Wellington County Museum and Archives - 0536 Wellington Rd. 18, Aboyne

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Festival featuring local authors and writers with a book fair, vendors, keynote speakers and workshops. Children’s activities will take place at the Aboyne library branch.

Party in the Park

Lions Heritage Park- Main Street East, Palmerston

Age of majority event with live music. In case of bad weather, the show will be at the Palmerston Arena.

Drayton Kinsmen Outdoors Show

PMD Arena, 68 Main St. W., Drayton

8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Second year of the outdoor show catered to hunting, fishing and hiking enthusiasts.

Pride in the Park

Lion’s Heritage Park - 166 William St., Palmerston 

12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Family friendly event celebrating diversity and inclusion in rural communities. Enjoy lunch and dessert from delicious food trucks. Get your face painted, and participate in a variety of community run tables with crafts, educational/learning activities, and more. Browse local craft vendors, play games, and join us on a celebratory march through the park. This is an event for everybody, not just those who identify within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community

Elora Sculpture Project Artist Walk

Fergus and Elora

12:30 p.m in Fergus and 1:45 p.m. in Elora

Participating artists, organizers and sponsors will explore this year’s sculpture project entries through public walks in Fergus and Elora. The Fergus walk begins at 12:30 p.m at the corner of St. David Street North and St. Patrick Street East. The Elora walk at 1:45 p.m. starts at Metcalfe Street and West Mill Street. Private reception at the Elora Centre for the Arts follows. 

Drop-in roller skating at the Puslinch Optimist Recreation Centre 

Puslinch Optimist Recreation Centre - 23 Brock Rd. S., Aberfoyle

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Check out the drop-in roller skating program at the Optimist Recreation Centre Rink in Puslinch for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Helmets must be worn by individuals 15 years of age and younger. Please note hockey sticks, pucks and/or balls are not permitted.
