WELLINGTON NORTH – Wellington Guelph Drug Strategy (WGDS) wants to hear from people who access, or would like to access, substance use and harm reduction services in Wellington County.

WGDS is hosting community conversations in Mount Forest and Arthur on harm reduction to hear from those from Wellington County with lived experience.

“Come hang and chat about your insights on harm reduction, experiences using services in the county and ideas on improvement,” an event posted said, adding there is no obligation to share and people are allowed to come “hang out.”

This is a drop-in event with no need to register and is considered an “informal conversation” that will help inform a larger community event on May 16. Pizza, snacks and a $10 Tim Horton’s gift card will be provided.

The first of these conversations will be held on Friday in Mount Forest at Stonehenge, located at 299 Main St. from noon to 1 p.m.

The next will be on April 24 in Arthur from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at the Arthur Library’s community room at 110 Charles St. E.
