Of RR#2 Elora passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 15th, 2023 in her 86th year, at The Wellington Terrace.
Beloved wife of the late Don Abbott(2005), and predeceased by Baby Son Jeffery. Nancy worked several years as a bookkeeper at Beatty Bros. and then together with her husband in their business. She loved baking, Arts and Crafts, and entertaining family and friends. Nancy and Don took pleasure in travelling and enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Nancy enjoyed many afternoons with Darlene and Carolyn (Niece).
Predeceased by her Brother Jack (Mary) Weatherston, Sister Jean (Jim) Cross, Dorothy (Kaz) Kokurewicz. Survived by Brother in law Kazimer Kokurewicz of Milton, Sister in law Darlene (Jim) Moynihan of Elora, Margo (Arno) Brandt of Corbitton. Loved by many Nieces and Nephews. A big Thank You to the Staff of Heritage River and Wellington Terrace. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial to occur at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus www.grahamgiddyfh.com
