Peacefully with his family by his side on August 31, 2023 in his 73rd year.
Beloved husband, partner and best friend of Brenda (Dolmer), for 45 years. Loving father to Sheryl and Mardi (Dave), and his fur babies Beau and London. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Brandon (Bre), Brittany (Kyle), Alaina (Ben), Cody and two bonus granddaughters, Jessica and Jennifer. Great Grandfather to Brooklyn, Peyton, Emma and another baby girl he was looking so forward to meeting soon. Remembered fondly by his mother Audrey and sister Wendy (Jim). Predeceased by his father, Alan. Also remembered by his brother in law, Larry (Sandy) and sisters in law Jude and Cheryl, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry’s first love was his family followed by his passion for fast cars and truck & tractor pulling. He always said “Whoever dies with the most toys, wins!”. Larry definitely won.
Larry was the proud owner of LRW Parts in Elora for 40 years.
Special thank you to some of the best friends a person could ask for, Kenny Austin, Harvey Miller, Jim & Cookie Bellamy and Denise Fess, your help and support during the past few years was so appreciated. Thank you also to Dr. Oh, Dr. Lund, Dr. Dicu, Sandra, Karen, Ann, Leeanne, Richard and Colin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fergus Legion on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Groves Memorial Hospital or The Banting Legacy Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
