Passed away on Sunday, November 19th at Caressant Care in Arthur, with family by his side. He was in his 82nd year.

Predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Dianne. He is survived by his daughter, Tania Elliott, son-in-law, Scott Hall and his sisters, Florence and Evelyn. Roy will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Wallace and Melissa Elliott.

Roy was born in Listowel and raised on a farm in Wallace Township, but spent most of his life in Kitchener, where he met Dianne. Roy enjoyed camping, model engineering and anything automotive. He was a talented wood carver, sketch artist, and builder of model John Deere tractors and train engines.

As per Roy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, or to a charity of your choice.
