March 12th, 1952 - January 23rd, 2023
My dear sweet husband, Peter Roger Morel, passed away at age 70 on January 23rd, 2023, a grey Monday afternoon. I will miss him until my last breath and beyond.
He was a kind and gentle man. Loved his family- siblings Keiran (Kevin), Don (Flo), Linda (Graeme), Cathy and Robert (Janine); children- Stacylynn (Charlie) and Jacob (Rory); grandchildren- Aleah, Eva and Tyler and last but not least his canine kids- many over the years- Summer, Winter and Riley presently.
Born in Parry Sound. A mechanical millwright by trade working for the Coast Guard (he loved sailing), and a steel mill among other jobs. He loved hockey, gardening and was a fabulous cook (I was so spoiled), and a creator of amazing savoury preserves in the past few years in our partnership together as vendors at the Farmers’ Market. Fixed everything broken in our home. Wonderful husband of over thirty years. My best friend, my partner, my lover, great sense of humour. Blue eyes, baby’s got blue eyes.

If so desired, donations in Peter’s memory can be directed to Guelph General Hospital Foundation, and specifically designated to the ICU. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
