On Oct. 23, 2023, at approximately 5 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Ridge Road, Rockwood. It was reported that a person was seen attempting to make entry into several vehicles. Officers arrived and were able to find the suspect.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old of Rockwood was charged with trespass at night contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on Dec. 12.
