COUNTY OF WELLINGTON - On Feb. 5, 2024, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began in investigation into a report of a drug trafficking offence at a Wellington secondary school.
As a result of an investigation, a 16-year-old resident of Centre Wellington, has been charged with unlawful purchase of cannabis, sell cannabis to person who appears to be under 25-years-old and person under 19-years-old possess cannabis, contrary to the Cannabis Control Act.
The defendant is scheduled to appear in provincial offences court - Guelph, at a later date.
